Greetings to all! I went to the doctor today and just wanted to update you all on how we're doing. The baby is growing along just fine and looks great. We're right on target for size and my due date. Dr. Christman is pleased with my progress. He still wants me to restrict my activity since that is what has gotten us this far, lets just keep it up...better to be safe than sorry. He did do another sonogram and it was amazing!! I'm in my 12th week and we were able to see not only the heartbeat but the bean is actually looking like a baby now! I was able to see arms, legs, hands & fingers, feet & toes and a GREAT profile shot complete with eye, nose, mouth & chin!! It was moving all over the place and Dr. Christman joked that it was putting on quite a show! I told him that was the best Christmas present I could've gotten this year! I even left with 8 sonogram pictures of all this amazement!! All in all it was a wonderful experience and I just feel so blessed!!! I go back in 3 weeks on January 15th so I'll be sure to update again then. In fact, my dear friend Amy has started a blog for us so that people can keep up with us that way, which was so wonderful of her! Now hopefully I can just figure it all out! ;) The address is maikorimoments.blogspot.com if you'd like to check it out and keep up with us there.
My mom has been here since Sunday and dad and KT are on their way now. Ishaku's sister Nponano is also coming this evening. We're all going to church this evening and then off to bed so Santa will visit! The boys are just SOOO excited!!! Mom has been baking today and the house is all ready for the celebration and as Isaiah would say, "Christmas Feast," tomorrow!! At this wonderful time of the year when we count our blessings and spend time with family and friends let me just say how much you all mean to us and how much we love you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Kendra,
ReplyDeleteI hope that your six year old is not to disappointed about the game. (Isaac or Isaah?) I am hoping to get a few signatures for him from OU players. Do not tell him though in case it does not work out. You have beautiful children and I loved meeting you at Natalie's birthday party although I know that i met you year ago. BOOMER SOONER< Rachel
