8 days to go & shopping fun!

Only 8 days until the big sonogram and I'm SOOOO excited! Amy & I went shopping last Thursday at Babies-R-Us and had such a good time. I'd forgotten how cute baby stuff is! It also made me feel old and as if I hadn't had a baby in ages, even though it's only been 5 years! They have SO much new, cool stuff that you never knew you needed/wanted that has all come about in just the last 5 years! They've also made great strides in product development. For example - swings that plug in!! Why did it take so long for someone to figure that out?! The stuff, the clothes, the sizes, everything was just so much fun and really made me excited to get back into that stage again! Also, Amy gave me my first official baby gift, which was exciting! She bought me the new and improved Diaper Genie II Elite. I've never had one but she swears this one is much better than the two former models. Thanks, Amy!!!! It was funny when I took it home because Shock was like, "oh, wow, thaaaanks Amy, I'd forgotten about that fun but now I smell 'em already!" Of course he was just joking around but it did serve as a reminder of the diaper fun that will be upon us soon! I'm just so excited I don't even mind the diapers! And oh my goodness, the clothes are so stinkin cute! Obviously the selection for girls far out numbers the boys, but even the boys stuff is adorable!! I just can't wait!!! After shopping (during which I'm proud to say I bought nothing!) Amy & I went to lunch with Jenny Noone, Natalie & Isaac and it was such a good time! All in all it was a great day and I'm so thankful to have such good friends.
